Hello Sathesh.
i want your guidance about Cross Forest Migration from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2016.
for exampel,
Currently we have:
1 Domain-A (Forest-A 192.168.5.2) with Exchange2010SP3 with100 users
1 Domain-B (Forest-B 192.168.10.2) with Exchange2016 without users.
Now in the Domain-B we would like to create the same 100 users of the Domain-A
is there any other easy way to move the data without Cross Forest Migration,
if the only best way is Cross Forest Migration Then plz guide me. Or
if there is any other way to solve the issue then i am glade to know that.
i hope You understand
easy way is to migrate using third party softwares
Hello Satheshwaran,
Hope all is well. I downloaded your ModernExchange script and love it. A few things I’ve found while testing it out:
1. The OS version is not displayed, There are no script errors that explain why.
2. The email does not place the html output into the body of the email it only attaches it
3. Is there a way to sort the data so it sorts ascending. I tried for example Get-ExchangeServer | sort-object but it failed.
I’m running the script under PowerShell 5.0.
Your thoughts appreciated.
1. The OS version is not displayed, There are no script errors that explain why.
Its using Get-CimInstance. it skips 2008 R2 Operating Systems. Coz i itend users to sue only 2012 R2 or above.
2. The email does not place the html output into the body of the email it only attaches it
The Modern HTML doesnt support to be inside Email. only way is to attach it.
3. Is there a way to sort the data so it sorts ascending. I tried for example Get-ExchangeServer | sort-object but it failed.
Get-Exchangeserver | where-object {$_.name -like “name*”} you can play around like this.
Hi Satheshwaran,
Great site and great articles. I was wondering if you have a migration guide for Exchange 2010 to O365 for a hybrid migration to the cloud?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Everyone,
I need a step by Step Doc or any useful link for Migrating Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010.
Its for one of our Client, if i get the Correct Document, i may get that Project. As this will be my First Migration.
Plan of Migration is, have a existed Exchange 2007, and want to move to to a latest Hardware with 2016, but before that they want us to move it to 2010.
Note: Its a small Org, and have to do it on single Server, not like CAS and Mailbox in different Servers. Already have a Domain Controller with 2008 R2.
Hi
Just wondering if you have any background in Configuring Continuous Integration Pipelines with Azure and what reporting tools you have developed using PowerShell.
Regards
